There has been a lot of dreams that I have achieved but there is one that comes to mind that so fare in my life it has been the best one yet. My dream was to win regionals with the varsity soccer team. This happened five years go in 2015 when I was a freshman in high school. I had just got moved up to Varsity to play regionals with the soccer team. I knew I was not going to be able to play as much because I was only just a freshman on Varsity. I was going to work hard during the short time I was going to practice with the Varsity that year. I knew that it was nit going to be easy but it was my chance to prove myself to the coaches for putting me on Varsity.
We had just won our first game in regionals in a crazy overtime game. We had tied in 80 minutes of regular game time. We ended up winning in the second half of overtime to send us to the next game that later that week. I didn’t get to play that game but it was an experience I was never going to forget because of hope crazy the game ended. I was really looking forward to the next game we played.
The next game we played was the game that regional championship game. The coach didn’t tell any of the players that if we won that game we would be regional champions. So, the game ended up 1-1 in regular time and we had to go to overtime again. It was a really intense game to watch because I didn’t get go play again. The game was very close to the ending and we knew that we were going to go to a penalty shootout. The coaches knew I was really good at talking penalty kicks and some of the player on the bench were telling them the same thing. So, he called me to get ready to go into the game because I was just going to go into the game for the last minute to shoot a penalty kick. That was the reason he put me in because you have to be in the game to be able to shoot a penalty kick. The game ended.
Next, it was time for the penalty shootout. They asked me what spot I wanted to be put in the list and I said five but they ended up putting me on six. So, the shootout begins and every player from both teams had scored their first four penalty kicks. It was our turn to shoot the fifth shot and we scored. It was time for the other team to shoot their penalty. So, if they made it we were going to go to sudden death which I was going to have the pressure of going first because I was put on six but if they missed we had won the game. The referee blows his whistle, the player has the right to shoot his shot and he missed the shot because our keeper saved the penalty kick. We had won the game.
Finally, after we had shaken hands with the other team, the coach gathered us telling us that we played a great game and that we were regional champions. We all looked at each other with a really confused face. He said that we had just played the regional championship game. Then, the principal of Olathe North High School handed the captains the trophy. That was the best day of my life. We were also told that we were the first team in 20 years to win regionals for Olathe North High School. It was a dream come true winning regionals.
I think if I had the occupation that I dreamt off as a child, I would not be were I am today. My dream as a kid was to become a professional soccer player. I would always imagine how I would be if I became a professional soccer player and I would work my butt off to keep getting better wherever I was playing. The dream of playing in front of a huge crowd and scoring would feel really good. The team I have always have wanted to play for is Barcelona. They are one of the biggest and best teams in the whole world and to play for them would be the best thing ever. I would always imagine playing at the Camp Nou in Barcelona, in front of 99,000 people and scoring a goal there. That would be the most amazing thing to happen to me. The team that I always dreamt of debuting with is Chivas de Guadalajara. They are my favorite team in Mexico and they are one of the biggest teams in Mexico. I always dreamt it would be the best feeling to play in Mexico. With this being said, I think that my life would be amazing. The reason I think it would he amazing is because my occupation would be doing something I love doing everyday. It would be the best feeling to just play soccer for a living. It would be amazing to travel to new places every other weekend when we would be playing away games in different cities. I would also be helping everyone in my family with what they needed. I always dreamt of buying my mom a house with the income I would be getting from playing soccer. That is how my dream life would be like.
I have always been interested in going to Barcelona, Spain. The reason I have been really interested in going there is because of their soccer team. I have been a soccer fan since I was a kid and my favorite team has always been Barcelona. My dream is to go to a El Clasico in Barcelona and watch the biggest game in the world. The El Clasico is the game between Barcelona and Real Madrid. This is the most watched game in the world every year. I watch this game every year and it is always a great game. I would love to experience this game in person at the Camp Nou in Barcelona. The other reason I want to watch this game is to watch the best soccer player to ever play the game Lionel Messi play the best sport in the world. I have always been a Messi fan. He is one of the reasons that I started watching and playing soccer and to be able to watch him play soccer in person would be the best thing in the world. I would be watching the best soccer player play in the best game in the world at the same time. Barcelona is my favorite team in the world, watching them play soccer would be really amazing as a fan and as a player. I would get to learn so much more watching them play in person because I would get to see their techniques and see how to do them. Another thing I would love to see is the way Messi warms up before the game. I would like to see the way he stretches and how he shoots the ball in warm ups. Another thing that interests me about going to Barcelona is the stadium. I would love to see this stadium in person because it is the biggest stadium in the world. It has a capacity of 99,354 people. It would be cool to be inside this stadium when it is full of Barcelona fans. This stadium is supposed to get remodeled in the summer of 2021 and it will have a capacity of over 100,000 people when it gets finished. It would be cool to see the stadium when it’s finished. Another reason I would like to go to the stadium is to see the museum that has Messi’s six Ballon d’Ors and his six Golden Boots. He is the only one in the world that has won six of each of those awards. This museum also has all of the Barcelona trophies. It has all of the historic players’ shirts that have played for the club. The stadium also has the Barcelona store. I would one hundred percent buy something from the store. The final reason why I would go to Barcelona is because of the city itself. I would love to walk around this beautiful city and see it in person. I would love to taste the food that it has. This the place I have never been to but would love to go someday which is Barcelona, Spain.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
